About Antarala Editorial
by Yani & Marce
We are Yani and Marcela — mother and daughter, two souls connected by words, stories, and the endless desire to learn and evolve.
Marcela taught Yani to read and write at an early age, sparking a lifelong passion for books, writing, and mystery. While raising her children, Marcela completed two university degrees — always at the top of her class — proving that discipline and imagination can walk hand in hand. She has always been Yani’s greatest supporter, encouraging her to write, to dream, and to share her voice with the world.
Yani, in turn, grew up admiring her mother’s strength and creative spirit — the way she could always bring ideas to life. When Marcela trusted her to move across the ocean to Spain and begin a new life, she gave her wings to fly and become who she truly is.
Over time, we discovered that our bond ran even deeper — both of us are drawn to the great mystery of death and the beauty of life’s final moments. Marcela encouraged Yani to take her Death Doula training, and when it was complete, Yani knew this work was not hers alone — it was part of a shared legacy.
Antarala Editorial was born from that legacy. It is the written counterpart to Yani’s Death Doula work — a space to give voice, education, and resonance to what often remains unspoken. We believe in the transformative power of words: to bring light where there is fear, to create meaning around pain and loss, and to help others approach death — and life — with love and acceptance.
This is our shared dream:
to remind others that darkness is only dark because it has not yet been seen,
and that once the light of understanding touches it,
there is nothing to fear — only the natural rhythm of existence,
where everything, and everyone, returns to truth.
