Rituals and Ceremonies

Part of preparing for the end of this cycle consists of learning to relate to life and death in a ritual and sacred way, incorporating reverence into everyday life. A fundamental part of my life and work is creating circles that honor the invisible to the naked eye.

A circle is an act of connection, a bridge between worlds, a portal through which the invisible meets the visible. Rituals don't need to be grand to be powerful; they can be as simple as sharing a cup of tea or as elaborate as a wedding. What matters is the intention that inspires them: to create memory, space and plenitude.

I offer rituals for many moments of life and death, including:

- Get closer to the reality and wisdom of death

- Honor the cycles and stages of life

- Remember a loved one

- Close one chapter and open another

- End a relationship

- Saying goodbye to a beloved pet

- Honor the stages in a woman's life: from childhood to menstruation, childbirth, menopause and beyond

Perinatal death

Sometimes one of the deepest and most silent forms of grief is the loss that occurs before or shortly after birth. Our society often does not offer the space for this type of grief with the sensitivity it deserves. Through ritual, we can honor the soul that touched us briefly but deeply, and offer a space for closure, or at least comfort.

As I often say, feelings need to be felt. Rituals help us recognize both the pain and beauty of these sacred moments, allowing healing to take root where words alone cannot reach.
